Here I show how beautiful normal all day life can look in slow motion, but also the scientific significance of high speed cameras.
This is the promotional video I made for Saxion, to finalize a subject I chose about high speed cameras.
Thanks to everyone in this video, and everyone at Saxion who made it possible for me to work with this high speed camera. It was even more awesome than I expected and I enjoyed every moment I worked on it.

I recently got an amazing deal ($100) on a used Casio Exilim Pro EX-F1, and it is GREAT! It has exceptionally fast high speed modes, although at low resolutions, and can shoot 1080p HD video. Now that I can shoot in 300, 600, and 1200 fps, this channel will never see any more of that crappy-ass \”slow motion\” like I had before. One very nice option on this camera is variable shutter speed for video, as high as 1/40000 of a second. This makes it easy to eliminate motion blur for frame-by-frame examination of high speed video.

Using the Casio EXILIM camera’s ultra-high speed Burst shooting for still images or its high speed movie Recording mode, you can capture a split second’s movement with greater detail than before, and even motion that the human eye cannot ordinarily perceive. Using the still image burst mode, you can shoot at 60 frames per second. Continuously recording at up to 60 images per second, a maximum of 60 images can be saved in the camera’s Buffer Memory even before the shutter button is depressed. Even if you press the shutter a little late, you will still be able to catch that vital moment. It is possible while using Flash to take up to 20 continuous shots at a speed of up to 7 frames per second. Pro: Qualità jpeg/raw, colori perfetti, discreta nelle dimensioni, tenuta ad alti iso, velocità operativa, pulsanti semper al posto giusto, filosofia di utilizzo, impermeabilità
Contro: mirino ottico bello, grande fujifilm per aver dimostrato questa tecnologia.
ma a che scopo? è nutzlos; a volte lentezza in afc, ma forse sono io che non lo so calibrare bene
Meinung: use sony a7 varie da anni, ma ho semper avuto la scimmia per questo corpo, so compatto e discreto, so l’ho presa assieme al 23 f2
Provenendo dalla color science von sony mi son trovato tra le mani un gioiello, colori fantastici e con grande space di personalizzazione, in fatto di emulazioni
90% dei casi mantengo e uso direttamente i jpeg con pochi aggiustamenti, i raw non li ho quasi mai usati, proprio perchè trovo i jpeg di a qualità e con dei colori che è difficile trovare su altri sistemi
Sono rimasto meravigliato della resa ad alti iso, un’apsc che regge bene i 12800 iso è rara, so come è fantastico non avere rumor cromatico ma solo grana corposa che il più delle volte è pure piacevole e non necessita di esser rimossa
Pur essendo un parallelepipedo non è scomoda da utilizzare e i tasti sono messi al posto giusto, ma c’è anche la possibilità di personalizzare molto
Mirino ottico si sa, inutile ma grande dimostrazione tecnologica, l’ho usato solo per far vanto di questo gioiello
Undurchlässigkeit: ho avuto un incidente con questa macchina, sono caduto in una pozza ghiacciata in alta montagna, la macchina è caduta 2 volte nell’acqua gelida, è stata sbattuta (era più importante salvarsi la pelle) sulla neve più volte, è rimasta circa mezz’ora tra acqua e neve ghiacciata, ma nulla, funziona ancora alla perfezione, grandissima tenuta

Pro: Bellissima, File JPG Ottimi, Qualità costruttiva, AF e raffica
Contro: Durata-Batterie, mancanza caricabatterie in dotazione, ghiera scelta ISO, filettatura treppiede
Meinung: Parto subito col dire perchè ho scelto questa compatta
Provengo da corredo FF Canon (che mantengo) e compatta Fuji (xf10) che uso quando faccio escursioni

L’AF ist superlativo ed aggancia benissimo
La raffica a 11fps è addirittura troppo per questo genere di macchina (può arrivare a 30 fps with otturatore elettronico)
L’ otturatore meccanico è di tipo centrale, quindi mai nessun problema con i synchro flash
Purtroppo non mancano i lati negativi
La durata della battery è davvero scarsa
Usando il mirino ottico, e nondigital, fatico a superare i 350 scatti con una carica
Inoltre la mancanza di caricabatterie ti costringe a lasciare la macchina ferma per dover caricare appunto la battery in macchina
Altro aspetto negativo è la ghiera ISO che la reputo funzionale, pero nella scelta delle varie sensibilità non c’è lo scatto tra l’una e l’altra
Costringe per forza a dover guardar bene quale impostare e „centre“ la sensibilità giusta
La filettatura del treppiede è messa molto vicina allo sportello della batteria e della scheda sd
Ära genügende Positionen sind la filettatura più lontano di qualche centimetro
Globalmente è una macchina strepitosa ed a parte il prezzo un po’ alto, la ritengo la migliore di quella category (or forse l’unica, scartando SONY e LEICA with FF dai costi di 4/5 volte questa)
